Chatham resident Allyson Hernandez will discuss her novel Ballad of Dreams: a Novel with Music. The author will speak about the themes of love, loss, and the friendship between cousins, Audrey and Rose, who go to New York to discover their own identity and independence as women in a time when society tried to define their lives for them. The author will also discuss the music in the novel, which was originally created as a manuscript for a play.
Allyson has 20 years in corporate HR, and a dual career as an actress, composer, writer, and recording artist.
