Event Details

Paperwhites and amaryllis bulbs are traditional around the holidays and are a beautiful addition to any holiday tabletop. Sandy Devaney of The Collected Garden will teach a workshop in bulb planting. She will discuss how to use bulbs throughout the seasons and demonstrate the technique of "forcing" bulbs to bloom in the winter (including proper drainage and growing conditions), caring for them, then saving and storing them. Bulbs and other potting material will be supplied, but please feel free to bring your own cachepot or container.
