While more states are legalizing cannabis across the country, the industry still faces challenges being seen as legitimate.  What is known about cannabis? Not much! Since it is not federally legalized, cannabis research has been a tricky subject.  But that is slowly changing. Lake Superior State University, a small university in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, established the first accredited programs in Cannabis Business, Cannabis Science, and Cannabis Chemistry.  This small university is leading the way in cannabis research. Through their program, they have been able to network with other universities across the country, including Stockton University in Galloway Township, NJ.

Professor Koral Fritz will join via Zoom to discuss her role at Lake Superior State University in helping students understand the emerging cannabis industry.
