Essex Water Color Club Art Show Reception

The Essex Water Color Club will hold its annual members’ show at the library through February.  A reception will be held for the artists on Sunday, February 26 from 2:15 to 4:00 p.m.   The public is invited to attend.

The club was established in 1932 and is the oldest watercolor club in New Jersey. There are approximately 200 members who are well-known in art circles in the area.  Membership is attained by submitting one’s work which is reviewed by a juried panel that meets once a year in November.  The group’s main goal is to promote an appreciation for watercolor among artists and the community.

Please be sure to visit with these talented artists the day of the reception.  The exhibit may also been viewed during regular Library hours throughout the month.
