Helen Bradford, Ph. D. (Cantab), is bringing her expertise in early years language and literacy to Chatham children and parents.

She will read one of the children's books she wrote, The Enchanted Apple Tree - A Folktale from France, to children.  She will also give a short talk on Reading with Your Young Children (3-7 years old) to the parents.

Attention parents:  if you have questions about teaching your children to read, write, or any other aspect of early literacy, now is your chance to ask a specialist!  Submit your questions here, and Dr. Helen will attempt to answer as many of them as time permits.

Dr. Helen Bradford is a passionate lifelong early years educator who has published widely over her career. She has worked in the early years for almost 30 years, where her specialist area of expertise is developing childhood language and literacy 0-8 years.
