Event Details

The Military talk covers records available at the New Jersey State Archives from the Colonial Era through World War I. Some available records include Revolutionary War Cards, Slips and Numbered Manuscripts; Civil War Regimental Records; National Guard Records; World War I Unofficial Service Cards and World War I Deaths. 

Presenter Bio: Jon Bozard
I have worked at the New Jersey State Archives for almost 20 years. Over the years I have processed the Civil War Regimental Records and Muster Rolls by Congressional District and answered numerous research requests for soldiers records. I have transcribed and entered thousands of death records for our online death record database. I am currently working on data entry for New Jersey Tax Ratables, 1772-1822 for a future online database. Over the years I have given talks and represented the Archives at various events in and around New Jersey.
