Sandy Josephson is the Editor of Jersey Jazz Magazine, published by the NJ Jazz Society; author of two books on jazz; and an instructor on jazz history/appreciation for Rutgers' Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. He will be giving examples of some of the major styles such as ragtime/stride, swing, bebop, and fusion and then bringing it forward to what's happening today.
This program will be presented in person at the library. If you cannot attend in person, you can join by Zoom. Registration is required to receive the Zoom link and suggested to everyone who wish to attend.
