Ready to Write Your Memoir? Here's How to Begin

Everyone has a story to tell but figuring out where to begin and how to tell it well can be challenging. Join Liz Alterman, Chatham resident and author of the memoir Sad Sacked, for a one-hour workshop in which you'll identify your memoir's overarching theme and explore emotional stakes, characters, setting, and structure. Whether you're aiming for publication or prefer to create a keepsake for family members to treasure for years to come, this class will inspire you to begin. Attendees will receive a handout of items to keep in mind as they begin drafting their story.
