Program Description

Event Details

Enjoy your garden more by learning all about perennials. Where and how to use them, selecting plants for every season, adding color, texture, year-round interest, fragrant and pollinator friendly plants. You will also learn how and when to plant, when & how to divide and make new plants (those are the dividends), how to deadhead, pinch back and increase flower production and bloom time. Possible insect and disease problems of perennials and how to deal with them will be discussed.

Under the leadership of Rutgers Cooperative Extension, Rutgers Master Gardeners of Morris County provide assistance with home gardening questions to residents of Morris County. Rutgers Master Gardener volunteers are trained to diagnose common plant and pest problems, suggest appropriate cultural practices and advise as to the best care for the home landscape and garden.

This program will be presented in person at the library.  If you cannot attend in person, you can join by Zoom.  Registration is required to receive the Zoom link and suggested to everyone who wish to attend.
