Program Description

Event Details

If you would like to add the warmth and decorative quality of indoor plants to your home, but are too busy or don’t have the information needed to take care of them, this presentation is for you. We will discuss the importance of choosing adaptable houseplants and those that tolerate neglect. They will forgive inconsistent watering and lack of proper lighting and yet they will reward you with continued growth. The presentation includes suggestions for using plants in small spaces, in low-light areas, and how to group plants to encourage growth and create attractive focal areas in a room.

Under the leadership of Rutgers Cooperative Extension, Rutgers Master Gardeners of Morris County provide assistance with home gardening questions to residents of Morris County. Rutgers Master Gardener volunteers are trained to diagnose common plant and pest problems, suggest appropriate cultural practices and advise as to the best care for the home landscape and garden.

This program will be presented in person at the library.  If you cannot attend in person, you can join by Zoom.  Registration is required to receive the Zoom link and suggested to everyone who wish to attend.
