New Jersey is home to a wide range of native plant species that support healthy ecosystems, clean water, and diverse wildlife. In recent decades, that balance has been disrupted by the rapid spread of invasive plant species. Their spread threatens not only biodiversity, but also the health of our forests, wetlands, and urban green spaces. This presentation will focus on understanding how these invasive plants take hold, what impact they have on our natural landscapes, and the practical, science-based methods we can use to manage and reduce their spread.
Presented by Master Gardener Cheri Wilczek
