Join New Jersey State Library Genealogy Librarian Regina Fitzpatrick for a discussion on slavery and slavery laws in New Jersey in the 1800s.  The class is designed to provide historical context and background information for those working on genealogical research during this time period.

Regina Fitzpatrick oversees an 18,000 item Genealogy Collection, including over 1000 New Jersey City Directories, family histories, and much more!  In addition, Regina teaches a variety of classes on New Jersey genealogy, both for the State Library and for libraries, historical societies, and genealogy groups all over the state.
