Our bodies have a pulse, rhythm, and vibratory signature of health and well-being. Just as musical instruments require regular tuning, so, too, do our bodies. Highly sensitive to sound, we are tuned by our surroundings, but we can also learn to tune ourselves in spite of our surroundings. We can “tune in to tune up.”
As we tune in and tune up, shifting from the lower vibrational frequencies of negativity, stress, anger, fear, and dis-ease to a higher frequency, we are reminded of our perfect tuning at the cellular level, creating harmony that radiates through the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies.
Participants are invited to lie down to support full relaxation, but chairs will be provided as well. Please bring a yoga mat and/or blanket, and several pillows for added comfort. Advanced registration is required.
The session will be facilitated by Denise Mihalik (MM, CSHP, E-RYT500, YACEP, CYVT), a certified sound healing practitioner, voice and yoga instructor, energy worker, and teacher of presence. Denise is the founder of Sound Awakenings, offering individual and group sound healing sessions and workshops virtually and in-person all around the world. Her life’s work has been to study the effects of vibration on body, mind and spirit. It began with the study of voice, moved to the opera stage, onto the yoga mat, and into the world of singing bowls.
