Program Description
Event Details
Our STEAM program for children will provide them with a welcoming space to create, build, and inspire each other while gaining a deeper understanding of the world around them. Through challenges and experiments children will witness STEAM concepts in action.
Did you know May 16th is International Day of Light? This session we will focus on visible light by experimenting with how much light can pass through different materials. Children will be given translucent, transparent, and opaque materials and discover whether they absorb, scatter, transmit, or reflect light.
For Grades K-3.
