Summer Reading Program Kickoff Event: Zoophoria

This year's summer reading theme is “Adventure Begins at Your Library!” Join the library in kicking off the summer reading program with a visit from our friends at Zoophoria. The wildlife program will focus on the adventure that animals offer humans and the threats they face in their natural habitats. We will also discuss how we can travel globally to see these animals, what type of transportation is needed to get there, how to travel ecologically, and how to volunteer abroad. Children will be able to see animals from all over the world including a giant 60lbs tortoise named Tripod!
