Presenter: Arlene Ferris-Waks, Director of Investor Education, NJ Bureau of Securities, Office of NJ Attorney General.

Arlene is an experienced professional of financial services compliance, with experience as both a regulator, compliance officer and financial literacy advocate.  Her areas of expertise include market trading analysis, risk assessment, surveillance, branch examinations, anti-money laundering and training of financial services professionals, and design of financial literacy programs.

Arlene has wide-ranging experience in the securities industry.  She has been employed with both the New York Stock Exchange and the American Stock Exchange, worked as a senior compliance officer at a broker-dealer, and as an investment adviser/registered representative.  She is passionate about finance and believes that all investors should have a good understanding about safe investing.
