Did you know the first root beer float was made in 1893? It is said that the Colorado snowy mountains inspired the scoop of vanilla ice cream! Join the library in making and tasting a deliciously refreshing root beer float!

Ages 10 & Up

 Learn knife safety and stovetop basics while preparing a healthier twist on a family favorite.

We will learn how to create objects by assembling the folded pieces of origami paper. During this class, students will create a flower and other small works.

Bring the “Color Our World” Summer Reading Club theme to life one last time with rainbow sand art! Get colorful and creative by designing your very own layered sand masterpiece in your choice of bottle shape.

All ages are invited to stop by the library’s table at the Chatham Borough Farmers Market for a fun craft, to learn about library events and services, or even to sign up for a library card!
