Art Show by Medy Bozkurtian

Medy Bozkurtian, of East Hanover, will hold a show of her impressionistic paintings at the library through April 28.  An opening reception will be held for the artist on Sunday, April 3 from 2:15 to 4 pm.  All are welcome to attend.

Medy began drawing at an early age in her native home in Bulgaria. After immigrating to America, she started studying oil painting at the Art Students’ League in NYC, and watercolor and acrylic painting at the NJ Center for Visual Arts, and the Ridgewood Art Institute.  She is an elected member and fellow of the American Artists Professional League in NYC, a board member of the Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club in NYC, an elected member of the Northeast Watercolor Society, the Garden State Watercolor Society, and the Essex Water Color Society where she recently served as president.
