Event Details
“Buzz” by the library to hear Joan Tak, President of Morris-Somerset Counties Beekeepers Association, discuss basic beekeeping. Joan is a retired Registered Nurse who began beekeeping in 2005. She will focus on the basic and practical application of precision beekeeping to maximize colony productivity. There will be a brief discussion about the importance of pollinator gardens as well as some varieties of bees. A working hive will be on display.
If weather permits, this program will be held outside on the library lawn.
To help anticipate guest count, registration is suggested.
