Mrs. Dodge was born into the Standard Oil fortune and married into the Remington Arms fortune making her the wealthiest woman in the U.S. at the time. She had a large estate, Giralda Farms, in Madison. She hosted a huge dog show annually, established St. Huberts Giralda, and gave Madison its stately Town Hall and stunning art collection. And that's just a little piece of the story.
Mallory is an art historian and educator. She has had the privilege to review many of Mrs. Dodge's papers and memory albums. She was the co-curator of the Geraldine Dodge exhibit at the Museum of Early Trades and Crafts in Madison.
