Event Details

New Jersey Chinese Culture and Art Association (NJCCAA), was founded in 1992.  As a part of NJCCAA, Hsin Ruey is a group of artists who are dedicated to promote Chinese art and East-West culture exchange.  Their members are under the guidance of two prominent professional artists – Heshi Yu and Chuan-Day Yu.  All the paintings on display demonstrate the traditional Chinese brushwork in watercolor applied to rice paper or silk.

Each artist is characterized by his or her favorite subject including landscape, flowers, birds, and trees, as well as by his or her technical expertise in creating the images.

NJCCAA/Hsin Ruey has held numerous public exhibitions in New York and New Jersey and has become an important part of the art community.

The art on display is for sale, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the library.

The opening reception is sponsored by Friends of the Library.  Everyone is invited to attend.
