Pat Wells from Chatham Township Historical Society presents:

Welcome or unwanted, loved or despised, inside or out, there have always been non-human occupants in the White House and on its grounds.  Enjoy pictures and stories of the creatures who have called the Presidential Mansion their home.  It's been wilder than you think!

Pat spent a chunk of the pandemic lost in the White House and Library of Congress (virtually of course), and read book after book about life in the Executive Mansion and the families and staff who have lived and worked there.  Since retiring from working in and teaching nuclear medicine technology, Pat has become an amateur historian and architecture geek.  She enjoys sharing her love of history with anyone who will listen.

This program will be in-person at the library. If you cannot attend, you may also join virtually on Zoom. You will receive the Zoom link when you register.
