Allison Pataki, author of The Magnificent Lives of Marjorie Post will speak about her recent book on Wednesday, March 9 at 7 pm via Zoom. The author will discuss how Marjorie began working for her father gluing cereal boxes for the C. W. Post Company before the business turned into the General Foods empire and making her an heiress. She became the wealthiest woman in the United States before turning thirty and built palatial homes such as Mar-a-Largo.  As a wife four times over, her life was filled with grandeur and beauty as well as shocking secrets and tumult.  Please join us for a look into the fascinating life of this powerful woman. Allison will also talk about her path from young reader to English Major at Yale to a journalism career that looped back into her hobby- fiction writing!
