DESCRIPTION:This program is taught by Liam Salcedo, a junior at Seton Hall
  Preparatory School.The Maker Mindset Series is a student-led workshop pro
 gram that introduces students to engineering, coding, and artificial intel
 ligence through hands-on, interactive activities.Each session combines a s
 hort, engaging presentation with a guided activity designed to help studen
 ts explore how things are built, how technology works, and how problems ar
 e solved creatively.The program consists of three workshops:Building – S
 tudents design and test popsicle stick bridges while learning how structur
 es are made strong and stable.Coding – Students modify simple games usin
 g block-based programming, learning how computers follow instructions and 
 how creativity plays a role in coding.AI – Students explore how computer
 s recognize patterns and make predictions through interactive demonstratio
 ns and games.The program focuses on making STEM approachable, fun, and rel
 evant to everyday life while encouraging creativity, teamwork, and problem
 -solving. By the end of each workshop, kids will leave with a better under
 standing of how STEM is used in the real world and the confidence to conti
