Can you believe you'll be able to draw a portrait with just four hours of practice? In this 4-part series, artist Gene Wisniewski employs a technique that dates back to the days of the Renaissance art academy.  He will teach you the fundamentals of how to accurately draw what you see in four basic lessons — even if you have little or no experience. We guarantee you’ll be amazed by what you achieve after only one class!

This will be held on Zoom only.  Register in advance to receive the link.

Materials needed: Sketch paper, pencils, pencil sharpener, erasers

Gene Wisniewski received his art education at Rutgers University, the New York Academy of Art, The National Academy of Design, The New School, and L’Ecole Albert Defois in Vihiers, France. He has exhibited in galleries nationwide, including New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago. He has twenty years’ experience teaching and lecturing on visual art. His short stories have appeared in Exquisite Corpse, Satellite magazine, and other publications. His first full-length book, The Art of Looking at Art , was released October 2020 by Rowman and Littlefield publishers. He recently completed a series of original abstract Tarot cards, and is currently working on screenplay adaptations based on two of his published short stories.
