Event Details

The Municipal Alliance Committee (MACC) and Amy Lewis, Health Educator for the Westfield Regional Health Department, will sponsor a series of six talks to help seniors stay healthy and meet new people.  Learn about the aging process and how to make healthy lifestyle choices, celebrate this exciting stage of life and all the benefits that come with it.  Discuss risk factors and behaviors you should avoid in order to stay healthy, examine how alcohol, prescription medications and over-the-counter medications affect seniors differently.  Learn how to use simple tools to help you feel more empowered about your health and the health care you receive.

Refreshments and free giveaways will be provided for participating in this program. Please join us April 21, 28, May 5, 12, 19, and 26 at 10 am.  Registration is requested and can be done below or in person at the library's Reference Desk.
