ESL Reading Group: Low Intermediate

This group for ESL students will read and discuss Hatchet by Gary Paulsen, an exciting story about a teenager who is the only survivor of a plane crash in the Canadian wilderness. How will he make it on his own and what is the secret he is hiding?  Registration is required and by invitation only.

This pilot reading group is limited to a small group of existing ESL students.  The goal is to help students become more comfortable with reading in English and to give them the tools to venture into the world of unabridged literature in English. Should these pilot reading groups be successful, the programs could potentially be offered to all of our ESL students.
