Chatham High School student and regional Scholastic Poetry Gold Key winner Jocelyn Xu will lead this four-week in-person workshop to explore the timeless and immersive beauty of poetry. In this introductory course, students will learn poetry terms and their definitions, as well as the various formats and styles that the literary art form has to offer. Most importantly, young writers will be able to discover the self-expression and literary appreciation that comes with writing poetry themselves.
