Event Details

This is a series of twelve sessions, with six classes in the Fall and six classes in the Spring. Classes will be taught by members of the Morris Museum Astronomical Society.

Lesson 4: The Astronomer's Toolbox - Spectroscopes

In this class, we will get to build a simple spectroscope then use it to observe and compare different light sources! Students will also learn about how astronomers use light to determine the makeup of stars and planets.
