Event Details

This is a series of twelve sessions, with six classes in the Fall and six classes in the Spring. Classes will be taught by members of the Morris Museum Astronomical Society.

Lesson 8: Black Holes

Students will learn about how black holes form from massive stars and that black holes are dense. They will also learn how scientists detect black holes indirectly - by observing their effects on nearby matter.
