Join us for an immersive culinary experience as we embark on a journey through the diverse and vibrant cuisines of Asia. Teen volunteer Diya Gupta will host this summer program, “A Trip Around Asia,” which offers a unique opportunity for aspiring chefs to delve into the rich tapestry of Asian culinary traditions. During each session, participants will learn about one Asian country then have a chance to cook their popular cuisine.
Our next stop is Thailand! The event begins with an introduction to Thai cuisine, where you will learn about the rich cultural heritage and the key ingredients that give Thai dishes their distinct flavors. Discover the balance of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy that makes Thai cuisine so exceptional with Diya's Thai Basil Fried Rice recipe. At the end, all cooks will be able to take home the knowledge, skills, and inspiration to recreate this beloved Thai dish and add a touch of Thailand to your own kitchen.
